University of Thi-Qar Journal for Engineering Sciences (UTJES), published by the College of Engineering, Thi-Qar University, Iraq, is an international peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal dedicated to multidisciplinary engineering sciences. The journal publishes high-quality research from inside and outside Iraq and follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific integrity and publication quality. UTJES is issued Semiannually under the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq.

The journal operates under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) , allowing unrestricted access, sharing, and distribution of published articles with proper citation. Articles are archived through the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals repository.
Authors may submit manuscripts electronically through the journal submission system at  jeng.utq.edu.iq . The journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 100,000 IQD (75 USD) after acceptance only.
